Halle/Zentrum
Sampling site in an intra-urban district
The sampling site is located in the centre of Halle. The river Saale flows through the area and the neighbourhood is characterised by residential areas.
Halle/Zentrum is a sampling site for pigeon eggs. Since monitoring started, eggs have been sampled at different sampling places because the pigeons form breeding flocks. Currently, pigeon eggs are taken from two dovecotes.
