Latest data on flame retardants and a plasticizer replacement have now been published

The latest publications of the German Environmental Specimen Bank deal with the long-distance transport of widespread halogenated flame retardants in the environment. Of particular interest is the comparison with samples from the Arctic and Antarctic.

Newer investigations in human samples show that the phthalate substitute DINCH® is now detectable in all recently investigated samples after its market launch in 2002.
