Fragrances
Fragrances are used in many different products
Fragrances are used in a variety of products. Not only in perfumes and deodorants, fragrances are also used in hygiene products, detergents and shampoos as single substance or as a combination of many.
Fragrances can be isolated from natural resources but also chemically synthesized.
The toxicity of many fragrances is not fully understood. Some substances are already known to be contact allergens or toxic to the aquatic environment.
