Mercury can be found everywhere in the environment. The main ways of intake for humans are fish consumption and amalgamous tooth fillings.

This current publiction investigates the time trend of mercury in the students of all ESB sampling locations (Münster, Greifswald, Halle/Saale and ULM) and shows, how the exposure to mercury reduces over time but is still a part of the general chemical exposure of humans.
