PFAS - forever chemicals: New papers out

Suspended particulate matter and fish analysed for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)

Two new papers discuss trends for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in German rivers and levels in different fish species and matrices. The samples of the German environmental specimen bank show that new PFAS are emerging in the environment and causing problems.
