German Environmental Specimen Bank at Annual Meeting of the International Society of Exposure Science

Created at October 14, 2017

Experts of the German Environment Agency discuss latest Environmental Specimen Bank results following the motto "Integrating Exposure Science Across Diverse Communities"

Several contributions of the German Environment Agency to the annual meeting of the ISES discuss current data of the German Environmental Specimen Bank (ESB) on the exposure of the population to glyphosate and plasticizers. Moreover, they demonstrate how human biomonitoring and long-term archiving of human samples are helpful for policy makers at the national and international level.

The International Society of Exposure Science (ISES) promotes and advances exposure science (methods, measurements, models) against the background of the complex inter-relationships between human populations, communities, ecosystems, wildlife, and chemical, biological, and physical stressors.
