NORMAN (Network of reference laboratories, research centres and related organisations for monitoring of emerging environmental substances) will discuss the challenges and pitfalls of working with emerging contaminants

The main objectives of the workshop are to discuss and evaluate the effectiveness of the approaches currently in place for sampling, banking and preservation of samples for emerging contaminant identification, and to develop a framework for identifying the next generation of emerging compounds.
